When you live here, sometimes you don't look locally for fun things to do.  So, we took the time to complete a list of some fun activities here in your backyard!  

We've included events that are family friendly and some just for the adults.

If there is something we missed (which is quite likely...), please send it to us!

Washington Brewers Festival
More than 500 beers from 100 Washington breweries, great food trucks, a live music stage, wine/cider and  all-ages activities.

The weekend features the traditional Fair with 300+ artists, craft  vendors, food booths and more, and the iconic Fremont Solstice Parade.

Tacoma Freedom Fair
Washington State's Largest 4th of July Event. 7 Stages, multiple Car Shows, Camp  Patriot which is dedicated to honoring our military heroes, an  International Food Marketplace, and a VIP Reception.

Seafair Weekend Festival

This  family-friendly museum is where science lessons come to life. Explore  galaxies near and far in the planetarium, get up close and  personal  with colorful creatures in the Tropical Butterfly House,  and much more.

Seattle Great Wheel
Take a ride on the iconic Seattle Great Wheel on Pier 57 and see  the city of Seattle like never before. Each gondola can fit 8 people  and provide an amazing ride that lights up the sky at night.

Chihuly Garden and Glass
An eight gallery Exhibition surrounded by a richly landscaped Garden and a centerpiece Glasshouse featuring an expansive 100-foot-long sculpture in a color  palette of reds, oranges, yellows and ambers.
